Aliyu Olugbenga is presently the Secretary for Dar Al-Awqaf Foundation. He teaches at the Federal University of Lafia, Nigeria. He is a Figshare ambassador and a Mendeley Advisor. Aliyu bagged his PhD. Degree in Information Science with specialisation in Disruptive Technology in Education and Libraries from the University of Malaya, Malaysia in 2020.

He obtained a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the International Islamic University, Malaysia in 2015. Yusuf earlier obtained a Masters of Information Science degree from the first and the best – University of Ibadan, Nigeria in 2010 after his Bachelor’s degree in 2006 from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

Dr Yusuf has served in several capacities and likewise member of several reputable and professional association, which includes the American Libraries Association (ALA), International Council of Knowledge Management, International Librarians Network, Nigerian Library Association (NLA), Africa Association of Entrepreneurs Nigeria (AAEN), Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) etc. Dr Yusuf is a human development coach, mentor, counsellor and passionate about Human Capacity Development (HCD), Entrepreneurship, self-development, leadership and growth among the Ummah.
